i dont see why people are trying to compare the ride quality in a bmw... its not meant to have a soft ride. its a drivers car and it doesnt try to be anything else. thats why the interior is relatively sparse and you can feel bumps on the road.
im gonna post this because i think its funny eventhough i know people are gonna try to take me seriously and flame me for it.. perhaps some people with a sense of humor may appreciate it

BMW is overrated imo.
My best friends mom had the 745LI and, almost regularly, every month she had to take it to the dealers to get it fixed because something wasnt working. |

| Well the e65 was quite a technologial leap, so the ealry models were bound to heave some issues. But as driving goes its still the best in the segment. |

the majority of people i see on the road that have BMW's are high school girls that their dad bought them for their sweet 16. if anyone else seems to have one...it's usually an older male professional who has like a roadster or something...which are ugly wannabe porshe's... |

Well the 3.0l Z4 is just as fast as the new boxter, and the Z4M will do circles aournd the boxter S and the SLK 55 AMG :D
And as for those girls, at least their parents have taste :D But seriously, if you get a 40k car for your 16th birthday you are not really going to appreciate it, so you will drive it a bit obnoxiously. But when i finaly buy mine with my hard earned money that car will get the best care it can get. |

of the small coupes/roadsers i would take a cayman over antyhing else although the z4 mcoupe is nice
m3 over anything up to 80k and an m5 until i can buy a ferrari f430 [911 turbo falls somewhere between there]
cant wait till the e90m3 comes out |
