I haven't been impressed by G&D anymore since their nice remix of Mindcircus. Maybe Arcadia and Zocalo are just ok... But that's it for me...
Don't like their current style... I'm not gonna check this album either :p |

Meh, G&D are average producers. I haven't heard anything absolutely amazing by them, but they don't make me want to puke either.
Tracking Treasure down was definitely crap, though.

All you're really saying to me here is that club success != good music. Club success means that people dance to your music whether it's good or not, and with the effects of mob mentality, just about anything can be a club success. There is a lot to be said for listening to music critically.

Expressing one's opinion is not pushing it on anyone. No one's telling anyone to think that G&D sucks, but they're certainly saying that's what they think. Indeed, more people are saying no one should think G&D suck than the other way around. |

People who say that we (=you and others who said this album is not good, including me) are forcing our opinions onto them, look kinda unsure of what they like and dont like imo. Like if 10 people say: wow this album sucks, they feel insecure and attacked because of that. And they wonder: damn maybe this DOES suck. Well i got 1 tip: who gives a what other people think. Make up your own mind ffs and dont like what the masses like and judge for yourself. |

| they used to be awesome, well mostly as remixers but lament is still a rocking tune, especially the dub for satoshi rework, good . but like i said, their old remixes was pure quality. like the capital rocka remix, the into the night remixes, the ballimingo - purify remix, the remix of ils - musik and the love from humboldt dub of duncan sheik. and their remix of mindcircus is , well the club mix, it's like a 4/4 version of the original, their sunrise mix was good but that wasn't released |

To all those who have been bashing GD. Have any of you actually sat down and listenned to the whole album??? Have any of you taken the time to sit, smoke a fat joint maybe pop a pill, chill and listen to the whole album...NO. You are judging that their album is crap on a few released tracks like TTD, Sydney and Eleven...have any of you heard the amazing track New Path, Enemy and Dangerous Power. Dont think so. I have had the opportunity to listen to whole album and in my opinion, its a fantastic album. Its not a dance album...its an ARTIST ALBUM. There is a difference between the two.
They have pushed the bounderies of music. They have incorporated sounds of nature (rain, wind, birds chirping) all through out the album. All the sounds are from actual instruments they played and not the crappy digital sounds that out there today.
It takes talent and creativity to actually sit down to compose music, to write the lyrics, to play the instruments, to put all the sounds of the instruments together to make a track...then to mix it all together to produce an album. GD is not the sound du jour...they are the sound of the futur. They are not shy to experiment with different sounds and to try different stuff compared to most artist out there that always sound the ing same..ie Tiesto and Armin...now that ing boring souless music for you.
In my opinion its a brilliant piece of art and soul ;-)
