Yeah, I know how you must feel --- I was so excited about this b/c I'm going to be in the city on that weekend... too bad I have to work @ 5 or 6am the next day (I'm not going to NYC for fun that weekend). Oh well, I guess I can try to go out on Saturday night... |

See, I'm not a fan of the surcharge either, but at least it's not ticketmaster, who charges $10 in service charges. Our Roger Waters tickets for MSG ended up being $160 for a pair of 300 level seats rather than $140. He is playing the entire Dark Side of the Moon live, so it should be worth it.
The bottom line, and hate me if you'd like, is that everyone on this board has gotten cheap, mostly because we're all spoiled by not paying cover charges at Pacha or Crobar because we get there before midnight. In most other cities, this "comp before midnight" system isn't nearly as common, so appreciate it when it happens rather than complain when it doesn't. |
