Armin van buuren @ Spirit vs Tiesto @ Crobar

there is somehitng that comes to me strange
when i came from the armin van buuren night that he spun at the Spirt i read a lot of reviews about it. More than ten pages i read at that time.however when i look for the tiesto review thread i see only three pages. Okay may be armin van buuren has more energy than tiesto but Crobar was more crowded than Spirit. So isnt it strange? |

That's easy. TA presence at Tijs show was hmmm about 3.5 people while at Armin's - 20-30 people.
What surprises me - people who never been at Tiesto's shows like to post their comments about his gigs. They saw nothing but they love to say "I'm sure it was BAD, just like the last time i saw him sometimes in last century". Pathetic.:rolleyes: |

Well lately its been good reviews and not so much negative but Armin gets more props because hes much nicer to fans and has joyful arua circling him  |

that avalon night was what really put me off too.
and def. this past friday it was pretty much just as crowded. still for me, his set just didn't do it for me this friday. wayyy too much prog and rolling basslines. a lot of the tracks just sounded way to similar imo. really didn't pick up his set until far too late into the night. |

I've been to see Tiesto quite a few times... more so pre-2002 when he didn't pack the place like sardines... I've only seen him twice since that time, and the last time was the best party I've ever been too (he played with Scumfrog on the beach in Colombia). And for the fact that his Colombia show was my favorite ever, I won't go back to see him again... I want to remember that night for what it was, and I know it will be a while before I go to a party than can even compare.
That's my reason for not going :) Not to mention the fact that I'm really not a Tiesto fan.
