Regular diet and exercise is healthy enough if you ask me. Anything beyond that is just vanity.

seriously...read it a few times until it sinks in. you were clearly making a very generalized assumption that sounded ignorant. glad i wasn't the only one who saw it.

Meh. I stand by my statement. I know enough people that are guilty of exactly what I'm talking about to keep my opinion firm on this.

The most I did when lifting was just eating more protein in my diet. I would eat a can of tuna fish after working out, would help me not be as hungry either. I guess it depends on your body type too. I was losing weight and not gaining it, my friends that were trying to gain weight would drink the protein shakes and weight gainer stuff.

Those protien shakes have a lot of calories-- reminds me of the southpark episode where cartman takes weightgain 2000

i am trying to gain weight but nothing extreme. i'm 6'4" and about 170lbs but i'm by no means muscular. i'm between skinny and athletic build. basically i was looking at supplement ideas because i really want to get that extra something out of my workouts since currently i dont see much result and i'm still that moderately lanky guy i've always been.

i'm not looking for a body builders physique and i dont want my veins sticking out like garden hoses but i would like to become a bit more toned and well built and i'm not currently seeing the results i want.

purple k is a more efficient creatine product which doesnt produce much creatinine a bi product not easily processed by your liver. Its probably the best way to go for creatine supplementation

as of the other stuff im not too sure ive only tried mass gainers (worked for a bit) shakes, and protein shakes.

Alot of it has to do with genetics. you can only really gain so much muscle mass naturally. If you want to break a plateau youll have to use some supplementation at some point.

nah that would be hella hard to time. how much of a discount is it? if its nothing short of magical then we'll talk but if its not much then i might as well just go to one thats closer since that ones like 40 minutes away.

I think protein shakes are great way to bulk up.

its a 30% discount, so that makes it a little bit cheaper than what you would be able to find online.

I drink whey post workout no matter if I bulk or cut.

Protein shakes arent magic, without real food they are worthless. They will supplement a good nutrition plan. I never took the weight gainer stuff. Just rule of the thumb, dont take cell-tech :D

protein shake after is great to help the muscles rebuild and grow. if you want to gain weight, get in a lot of carbs almost directly after your workout. really just eat as much healthy food as possible. take a daily multi-vitamin to help also.

i use nitro-tech. but i think that whey protein is whey protein, regardless of brand. needless to say, take a protein supplement daily.

substitute your beefs for chicken and fish. get big, live well.

and to those who say that bodybuilding is superficial, i hope you enjoy being out-of-shape.

with that said, i'm off to get diesel .:haha: :haha: :haha:

I buy 10lb bags of Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein. The bag has 155 servings at 24g of protein per serving. Its the best tasting protein mix I've experienced and I've tried quite a few.
