and that's exactly what they intended. remember with the Wii you'll be able to download old NES, Super NEs, N64 games into the Wii.;) |

i think this is pointless, since you can do the same with the xbox, dreamcast, PC, PSP, etc. all for free. |

| the upcoming Zelda is supposedly for Gamecube, slated to come out in the FAll. But, it will utilize the Wii controller for added gameplay. and such. so i guess you can play gamecube games on Wii too. |

Wouldn't it need more buttons then? I remember my SNES controller had 6 button (A,B,X,Y,R,L) |

you're right. But there's more to it. some called the "nunchuk" which you attach to a port under the Wii controller...there's still more to be revealed though. can't wait till tommorrow. |

That's true. IGN has proposed shells for the controller that would help out. Otherwise, you'll just be able to plug in your GCN controller and play the older games that way. ;)
