She said "White Boy."

That's about it.

I really brought race into this after the fact for no reason. It'd be the same if she were white, chinese, eskimo, or martian.

lol, like i said

..stupid white boys :p

good point. i think in this case, the woman was just being a bitch though. could've been any race. i think race is the smallest issue here, other than the fact that she called rturn a "white boy."

i dont mean to start .
but in the united states, and more narroly in southern states, id hypothesize most of these situations start from black people.
if a study were conducted in that area, id bet a significant amount of these situations came from a minority.
given proper poulation biases.

Oh yeah, plus, her race in combination with her use of colloquial dialect made the story a bit funnier.

I mean, don't get me wrong, it'd be HILARIOUS if it was a white woman talking like the most ghetto woman in the world, but I think the African American ethnicity of the subject of my tale lends to its authenticity.

What does that even mean?

Should I read the complete Wikipedia entry?

:nervous:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heart_murmur

Murmurs are abnormal heart sounds that are produced as a result of turbulent blood flow, which is sufficient to produce audible noise. This most commonly results from narrowing or leaking of valves or the presence of abnormal passages through which blood flows in or near the heart.

my heart is making techno music.

being i live in the MW, can't comment on how the south works. i'd take you up on that bet though, just to see what would really happen. i'm just the type of person that doesn't like to automatically attribute someone's behavior to their race, because it's ignorant, for the most part.

actually, i kind of like moral's point, the more i think about it. what if white people were the black people of today, culturally speaking.. hmmm

I don't think anyone was accusing you of being a racist Rob. I know my question was just meant to explore whether this situation would have been any different (other then the use of the term "white-boy" as a pejoritive) if it had been a white woman of low economic standing rather then a black woman.

Ever see "White Mans Burden"?

Isn't that what that movie is about?

She actually appeared to be rather affluent. Her clothes were rather nice, lots of jewelry, well manicured (with a weave and a blonde highlights), and her friend was driving a new Camry.

Nothing too showy, but she didn't appear poor.

And I knew you weren't calling me a racist Craig :)
