anyhow, what kind of high schooler was I?
i was a nobody until 10th grade. Started dating the captain of the volleyball team + uber popular hot chick.
and then i became a "somebody"
inevitably i went from HER boyfriend .......to her being MY girlfriend and I overshadowed her with my wacky humor and antics.

but man... i wish it would have been cool to be dorky back when i was in high school. i was a total dork up until high school and it was never cool, i just got made fun of... so once i hit high school i decided instead of being the nice shy dorky girl, i was gonna be the bitchy rebellious girl... which worked for a while until people started calling me "slut" and made fun of me for far worse things than being dorky, lol.
it seems like it's only a somewhat recent trend to be a "cool" geek, like Seth on The OC... |
