Yeah, I admit it sucks that the stuff I like to watch hardly gets any coverage and often people don't know what I'm talking about :(
Swedish Cinema, for example is something that has impressed me a lot so far, but I've never seen a Swedish film being shown in any major theatre. The same goes to Far Eastern Films: unless there's a Hollywood Version of them (you certainly know "Ringu", by the way - the American name is "The Ring" and "Sadako" is "Samara"), they're not well known.
If you're interested on watching those films, do tell me, and I will find a way to hook you up :) |

i like johnny depp, al pacino, ed norton, deniro, spacey, sam. jackson, reese witherspoon, last but not least john cusack.
personal favorites being cusack and depp, cuz they simply nail every movie that i saw them in.
i don't like the guy very much but tom cruise did well in collateral and american beauty |

here are some more strong perfs in movies:
marlon brando as don corleone - the godfather
anthony hopkins as hannibal lecter - silence of the lambs
(both of these guys scored oscars im pretty sure, which is impressive considering they have very little screen time at all)...and some more:
christopher walken - king of new york (if you havent seen him in this, check it out....def worth a watch to see walken lead a vicious street gang)
guy pearce - memento
jeff goldblum - the fly
johnny depp - fear and loathing
the scorned woman in miike's "audition" :nervous:
dennis hopper - blue velvet
sean connery - the man who would be king
