thanks lira;) i'm not doing much this weekend, and i think it might rain a lot, so maybe i'll check one of those out this weekend.

oh yea, and last night i watched true romance and i take back what i said about patricia arquette...i mean, don't get me wrong, she was awesome in it, but my favorite character by far is Michael Rappaport as Dick Ritchie (the redheaded actor friend from L.A.). he's great in that.

oh and thanks halcy:)

Hey, I watched that movie last night too. @.@

I still think she was ing amazing in that movie - the part where she beats the absolute out of that hitman was asolutely priceless. I also really liked Brad Pitt's, Gary Oldman's and (oddly enough) Christian Slater's characters - everyone had this weird, character vibe to them, like they were really interesting character-characters, not just actors trying to pass off as real people. Loved how Slater always took his bathroom breaks to talk to Elvis...

"I like you Clarence. Always have - always will."

ing win.

The part of the hitman was played by James Gandolfini....

yea and last night i realized for the first time that Elvis is played by Val Kilmer:wtf:

in the beginning, we were watching it and i was actually paying attention to the credits and we were both like, "huh? val kilmer's in this? how did we miss him?" then i got on imdb real quick and was like OHHH! haha

yea that movie is in my top 10 favorites. i just love how they confess their love for each other on that billboard and then he goes and kills her pimp. i love slater's character too. and dennis hopper is great too in that scene with him and walken about sicillians being spawned by N'ers. it just shows where slater gets his balls/guts from in the family. :stongue:

oh yea and i remembered last night that one of the cops was played by tom seizmore..

i forgot about the Kill Bill movies too...some great acting in those. i think my favorite is that redneck Budd played by Mike Madsen. the bouncer at that country bar out in the middle of nowhere....and he shows up to work late all the time and his cokehead boss is like, "you know....you're about as useless as an right here!" (points to his elbow). hahaha

i just thought of another amazing role...leo dicaprio in The Beach...he was also amazing in Romeo & Juliet..so was claire danes.

that line is also said by a coke dealer in Rules of Attraction

the character James Van Der Beek (Dawson!!) plays in that movie is great. :stongue:

I work at a Blockbuster and, for a while, I had this customer who would come in and ask me about Val Kilmer movies - like what ones he was in, what kinds of characters he played, whether he seemed like just an actor or a real person, bla bla bla...

For a few weeks this went on until she finally told me the reason she was so interested in seeing what Val Kilmer was like was because her daughter was getting married to him. :wtf:

Not sure if it's true or not, she really did seem like she was telling the truth and wasn't just some crazy old bat. Also, the Naples area is kinda aristocratic lol, so I'd believe it.
