I used to love macs, but you couldn't get games for them thats why I'm on a PC right now.

Solution: Buy and Xbox 360 and a MAC link it upto a super sexy widescreen. Enjoy. (half way there with my plan :p)

So there is no MS Access for Macs? Any substitutes?

Do any of guys know of a nice online course/tutorial or something which teaches softwares like photoshop/flash/dreamweaver etc?

I haven't ever formally learnt these applications and I want to be good at them by the end of this summer. Basically looking for some interesting summer learning...

Any ideas?

the argument that mac has no viruses because mac isn't popular is retarded.OSX is based off UNIX, so is Linux. i believe about 70-75% of webservers run Linux and yet the other 20-25% are the ones who get hit hardest by viruses. people need to quit the mac bashing, it's uncalled for and stupid.

i've had a powerbook for 2 years and it froze maybe twice, that was before Tiger. i've been using a windows laptop for 2 weeks and its frozen about 7 times.

if you game, it's simple. don't get a mac, DUHhhhrrrrrrrr

seriously people macs don't advertise themselves to be gaming machines. if you want a stable system that can do anything windows can and more (besides gaming) then get a mac.

they are'nt hard to switch to at all, and who cares about right click? you do'nt really need it in OSX, and besides just plug in the same mouse you use in windows and duhrrrrrrrr RIGHT CLICK

switching OS'es is easy, you just gotta give it time to get used to. i've switched between so many different OS'es its not even funny anymore.

Not a gamer anymore. So macs ftw for me.

Can anyone clearly specify where MACs are better than windows with regards to software applications. Not looking for the virus kinda stuff...

Stuff like whether MS Office for windows is better or macs....

It's usually pretty expensive but there are 'alternative' ways of getting the stuff. Let me know if you're interested ( send me a PM ).
