Yeah how can people say something is hard when you can provide one example of someone who could maybe possibly just about do it?

Who knows.

Oh, and from your previous posts it's clear that you have next to no knowledge of computers so your comments like 'macs 4tw' make little sense.

Seriously, if you do go and buy a Mac you will just be another person who has fallen for biggest con going and shelled out for computer that lacks function and costs two to three times too much in the process.

File Maker Pro seems to be the closest.

Lol lacks function. Mac laptops on pc ones, other than for gaming in which case buy a cheaper pc desktop. For professional applications Mac is where it is at. Do you see most major animation studios running pc's. nope. how about most graphic design firms. oh not that either. what about recording studios. oh thats sad not there either. what about djs playing out live. oh oh wait not there either. Hmmm do we see an emerging trend here. Yes Macs are more reliable and better for professional applications.

Eep... not to pick, as I'm a Mac user myself, PCs still have an advantage in processing 3D graphics, making them a stronger tool for not only game development, but high end 3D animation. Moreover, you'll likely see that most high end animation applications with stronger Linux support, as Windows can sometimes be a roadblock in it's design.

But maybe the Intel Macs can shift this a bit.

why would you want a powerbook NOW?

new macbooks came out (today? yesterday?) and they're hot.

Macs > PC. Any day.

ondrayce most 3d animation studios are using mac xserves or g5's because it will run render man since pixar devoloped it and pixar uses all macs.

I see your point. I have been noticing a lot of people are slowly beginning to make the shift from PC to mac. Excluding games, Macs just seem to be a lot more appealing in their functionalities. The mac pro with the Intel is an awesome processor, the aesthetics are all appealing now and bootcamp just does it for you.

Apart from the aesthetics, I am taking this as a way to expand my horizons too I guess.

I ask questions, I get perspectives from people which help a lot. Need to tell you one thing though: The key to knowing everything is admitting that you know nothing.
