that's all up to debate but what matters the most, is that everyone has the right to chose and we all have our own personal preferences.

I like all platforms I don't discriminate.

i dont really see a big difference between windows and mac, other then the price.

macs cost way too much...you can get a better pc for a quarter of the price
Haunted
not really. check out the new ibooks that just came out today, find me any pc laptop that can match what the ibook offers for the same price. please.. anyone

theres so much software for OSX, who cares if windows has more? quality over quantity. Office is prety much the same on both.. it's not like windows writes your papers for you. in office OSX you can save documents and open them in windows OSX. keynote you can save in powerpoint format.

The only real drawback, from having used both extensively, is the lack of gaming you can do on macs, and the occasional freeware program that isn't available to macs. However, that problem is about to be vanquished with Boot Camp. While some Macs are pricey, there are other options that are on the opposite side of the spectrum, so that point is moot. As for the switch from a mac to a pc, give it like a month and I don't think you'll ever want to go back to a pc.

That then leaves you with the task of counting every piece of software ever coded for both Mac and Windows Operating Systems... :p
