Junk is genius, taking the ideas of the icey remix of punk but redoing it in a better fashion with a nice acidline and a good groove and Guru delivering some bars over it, top tune, needs an extended mix. |
yes good song the vocals fit excelent in the punk melody. |

| Well, I don't know if it's the memories associated with dancing on stage while "L.E.F." or "Watch Out" was spun by the man himself, but I freaking dig this album hardcore. Right of Way was amazing, and I'm in love with this as well. I couldn't wait for the release here! I'm gonna see him in 2 weeks in D.C. and if you are in North America, download it off dance tunes, because you get the 16 tracks for 13 in your bundle (see site for explanation) and that includes "I love you"! 9/10 hands down grooving craziness |

well, looks like people are getting old around here. That whole generation of people who love "the uplifting trance era" of early 2000's. That's over! Things have changed, and I love it!
Trance needs to kick your ass on the dance floor IMO and since the change in overall styles for most DJ's, its been a great time for me. The old stuff put me to sleep unless it was harder edged like what PVD used to drop.
Now granted I don't want Ferry going too House or Techno like, but when he makes trance, it's always top notch! |
Go to hell... Exactly whats killing trance.... People like this... Go listen to rap or pop if you want to dance... I want to be tranced like the old days not like today with bull like Deep dish, Flashbrothers, Ferry Corsten 2005/2006.... We need more trance like John O'Callaghan, Kamil Polner, Solarstone, Ronski Speed, Shah, Selu Vibra, N2O..... |

I personally prefer the Ferry's oldstyle of trance, but some new stuff is good too but not so much for me.
I think the whole conflict here is difference between "oldskool" and the "newskool" fan's. Some trancers who have been around awhile probably identify more with the older sound, I'm not saying all do, but a lot do. And the newer 'trancers' or 'edm'ers', whatever you wanna call them, can't relate the same to the old sound like they do with the current sound.
For example when I started dj'ing back in 2000 trance and vocal's were looked down upon and there werent so many around, big euphoric trance tracks was the sound of the day. And now you see a lot of vocal tracks and fewer euphoric tracks. So you could see that a person getting into trance back then may have different tastes to someone who go into the scene now when the music has changed!
It's all a clash of era's, things are changing, things always change, you can't stop it. It's just how it is... we can wish for the past to come again because for many of us it brings better memories. You don't have to embrace the new things, but don't go slagging others because they probably come from a different perspective and experience to you, and so can't relate.
It is fair to express an opinion, but if your slagging other peoples opinions because its not your own then get off your high horse because it's people like you that are the problem with the scene. |

Exactly. Im not bashing trance as a whole, Trance is what I define as my favorite type of electronic music. Im not into the "uplifting" trance some of you love so dearly. I like it with more energy, and not the cheese that was out around 2000.

I understand that this is a general statement, yet im not into your favorite type of trance.
PS: Ferry's new album is called "Loud Electronic Ferocious" not "Uplifting Melodic Dreamy"
