15.000 Chile-fans bought a ticket for this game, and Chile played very good.

Sweden on the other hand has a lot to work on, even though they didn't really care about this game as much as Chile did perhaps. The most important thing now is that Tobias Linderoth doesn't get injured, It looked a little down for him after a small injury in the late stage of the game.

Humberto Suazo was really good.

Man of the match was in Chile, Jorge Valdivia.

Look out for that guy in the upcoming years..

We(Ireland) played them in a friendly 2 weeks ago. lost 1-0 to chile. They played very well. Technically they have some excellent players.

Gonzalez was excellent against us. Liverpool applied for his Work permit yesterday. Hopefully it will be granted, should be class.

They were playing terrifick.

Look out for Jorge Valdivia, He was amazing and has been playing in Europe twice before, First in Servette in Switzerland and then in Rayo Vallecano.

He's currently playing for Colo Colo.

I can't wait to see him playing for us next season, he'll be our very own Cristiano Ronaldo!

England 6 Jamaica 0

1-0 Lampard '12
2-0 Taylor (Own goal) '16
3-0 Peter Crouch '29
4-0 Michael Owen '32
5-0 Peter Crouch '67
6-0 Peter Crouch '89

Peter Crouch could've scored another goal, but missed a penalty kick.

England + Penalty kicks = No good :(

Lampard last game, Crouch this game.

we're getting rid of all the missed penalty kicks before we start :p

Fair do's Jamaica werent much kop but England took them to the cleaners and showed the quality that we have throughout the squad with or without Wayne Rooney.

I didn't see the game, but that's a lot of goals isn't it? Maybe Crouch can have a good tournament and pot a few. Still, it's just Jamaica, but things look good so far no?

Take it from someone who has seen the English get totally dismantled... when a soccer team is losing, logic says take risk and push forward. English NT says let's play rugby and make sure non of the players we're injurying will have a chance of playing in the next round.:p

I think u'd have to go a long long way back in history to find a competative match that England lost by more than 2 goals. so where was this dismantling??

yeah no e. England didn't even bother to play in the first three World Cups and have always been competitive in the ones they did qualify for (1974, 78, 94...bad years). In fact, the last few big games have been 1 goal games or losses on penalties...or absolute theft like Maradona's hand of god, disallowed goals for no reason, etc, etc.

My grandpa has a theory that FIFA will never let England actually win a big tournament again...;) :D

Crouch is on fire.
