they are... but again why should he care? Until the day that he owns a business and faces a similar problem based on the same mentality that has pushed this law through.

where is the logic in this kind of thinking? Or this law for that matter?

There is none. Its a kneejerk reaction so that people can pretend to feel good about things instead of facing the real health crisis' in our country. For example, why it took my mother 6 hours to be seen by a doctor in emergency last night while she was sitting there with A HOLE IN HER COLON. And why it too 24 hours for her to get an admitted room.

But hey, lets ban smoking in DSRs because thats the pressing issue right?

Seriously, I'm originally from rural Nova Scotia and you have a hard time getting a family doctor, sit in the emergency room for no less then 10-12 hours, wait 6-8 months for sugurys, etc... This law is bull.

funny, my dad was having a heart attack and got admitted right away. Its called triage..you get served by order of severity ...not to mention the dumbs who clog it up for no reason(ie: they shouldnt be there). its by no means perfect but its not some hole in the wall pos health care system
