funny, my dad was having a heart attack and got admitted right away. Its called triage..you get served by order of severity ...not to mention the dumbs who clog it up for no reason(ie: they shouldnt be there). its by no means perfect but its not some hole in the wall pos health care system |
But, take rural areas for example, they have shortages of family doctors, and the only option doctorless people have is sitting countless hours in the emergency room. Granted, serious cases are taken care of promptly as they should be, but the point here is take care of the pressing needs of the health care system instead of creating pointless laws like this one. |

| I dont think its pointless, but I do agree the heatlh care system needs help too. |

No offence but you really dont seem to have a grasp on what the real world is like.
When you are in a situation where you need money in order to provide your own food and shelter and this becomes threatened by stupid senseless laws, maybe you will understand. |

Ok how about this.... Ill be fair...
Tell me why people shouldnt be allowed to at least smoke in DSRs without using the "people shouldnt be forced to breathe smoke" because clearly they dont have to in the DSR. Thats the whole point of them. |

what about the people serving them? (if that applies)
imo if the dsr is in like a tim hortons where you dont get served then I think they should be allowed to smoke in there. But I think they are just going the easier route and banning it all together. |

most people that serve smoke themselves.
i've worked as a server in many places and about 80% of people smoke |

again... the people serving them HAVE CHOSEN TO BE IN THAT PROFESSION. And the people serving them GENERALLY WANT THE TIPS AND THE EMPLOYMENT RATHER THAN HAVE NO SMOKING AND BE UNEMPLOYED OR UNDERPAID, As i have repeatedly stated in this thread.
So if thats all you have you have no ground to stand on.
whats next? banning booze in case serving booze is against the moral grounds of some potential bartenders??? |

| i agree this is a bull law, they have their own room where they can smoke, no one is affected by it then why banning it? it THEIR choice to do what they want. |
|
|

| but the government and people like euphorica dont care about YOUR choices. Its all about THEIR choices which essentially ensures that no one else has one. |

...whatever.. it wasnt my choice to pass the bill... its still a good thing imo whether or not you like it or not.
what do you think about the new anti streetracing bill ? Making it a criminal offence and possible jail time for reoffenders..
waste of time? bs bill? howmany die a year from streetracing? a few? who killed that cab driver lastyear? 2 kids in their parents cars, not the "typical streetracer" car.
your thoughts? |
