It's obvious who was the better team...I have rarely seen such beautiful football as what the Argentinians showed today..so far, they are in the lead for the cup...their team has rarely looked better

Im extremely dissapointed with our team and the way we played. Our major problem is once there are at least 2 goals in the beginning of the game we become completely demorilized and "give up" .... hence the huge amount of goals and the disastrous score of 6-0 (The Netherlands beat us 6-1 in '98 for similar reasons)
Our offensive sucked incredibly with long crosses that nearly always ended very comfortably in the Argentinian goalies hands...

Our defense with Vidic out was no match for South American offence. And id like to just point out that our team had one of (if not the) best defensive record for a team coming in the world cup but with key player, Vidic, out of it it meant it would be tougher for us.
Also a lot of you who are surprised that we even qualified just go to prove that you dont know much about football. I was very dissapointed when we lost to the Dutch mainly because they were the only other European team in our group. Argentina showed the power of South American football by proving that a European team's strong defence can mean very little for a powerhouse South American offence...the 24 passes and that outstanding goal by Cambiossa is clear proof of that....
So for those of you who are scratching your heads as to why a team qualified when they were beaten 6-0 can stop a little now and think about it...

Anyway, there's no point in rehashing everything now (unless you come from Argentina)...we were bad because we got demorilized (off and on field) and Argentina easily have the strongest team in the cup (from what we've seen so far)...it's not a complete surprise when u look at it in hindsight...I am angry and extremely dissapointed, we are a better team than this..it's just a shame that for someone watching (especially someone who doesnt know much about football) we seem like the worst team now because we got beaten so badly and our real skills/tactics that got us to the world cup with such an amazing preformance in the qualifying games gets overshadowed and forgotten because of football politics off-field and our biggest age-old problem of demorilization (especially from a South American team that has never looked better and that is the frontrunner to win the tournament)

I will always support my team everytime we play even if another team wipes the field with us...I'm just very sad and angry now because deep down even with all our ed up problems and bad luck I know we could of done better.

I favor Czech Republic now for the cup.

What is your deal Taha honestly? This over-exaggerated jubilance over our loss is surprising, un-called for and honestly, a little irritating.
Maybe if you have a good reason I can understand...but I don't see how you can.
You got something personal against Serbia?

No one deserves to be beaten this badly...even if you hate our country or team or whatever...being sooooo happy for such an incredible loss of any country is just plain cruel and wrong

taken directly from Fox Sports:

Holland has dominated Argentina, with a 3-1-1 record overall against the South American champs.Argentina met Holland in the 1974 World Cup in Germany and were promptly crushed 4-0 at Gelsenkirchen. Argentina turned the tables on the Dutch four years later when they beat them 3-1 AET en route to their World Cup title. During the 1998 World Cup, Holland knocked off Argentina 2-1 at Marseilles. In the two friendlies since then, Holland drew 1-1 with Argentina in 1999 at Amsterdam and beat them 1-0 in 2003, also in Amsterdam.

don't speak so soon Jay :toothless

I didn't get to see any of the games today but I was getting my updates. But Nick, I am really sorry to hear about Serbia getting trampled on :( And I am not gonna say anything further cuz it is frustrating and I am sure today was a frustrating day to see that kind of loss as well so end of my comments right here.
