I didnt see any of the matches over the weekend or on friday, but I heard most of the news.
-Glad about the Nederlands i have to say (sorry jenn :( ) but i cant be sad about a disqualification if i think they didn't deserve to go through their group in the first place..
-Didn't Figo get hit in the face? I heard about the headbutt but I thought it was after that elbow in the face which I saw on replay...looked painful.
-Im supporting Ghana tomorrow against the World Champs...not only do they have a Serbian coach heehee, but I also really dont want to see Brazil advance...matter of principle.
-England's goal was SUPERB...props to Beckham for that one
-I don't know why you guys are talking about Brazil, Italy, England in the finals when we all know that Argentina will claim the cup this year :p
-Saw the last 10 minutes of Italy-Aussie today and I have to say I was surprised and dissapointed with Italy..i thought it was going to be an easy sweep 2-0, 3-0 but gotta give them thumbs up for defense (and with a 10-man team ha!) it's a shame that the goal had to come from a penalty which looked like it could of been undeserved ... Totti's shot was killer though.
-France vs. Spain is going to be verrry interesting.

Nachos Nachos Nachos...Argentina played like crap against Mexico and were lucky to win, and they're meeting a pretty good Germany team next. I guarantee you that your name will be in that bye bye thread before mine, if at all :D |
