can i please see that article? or would u have to scan it or something? i was planning on doing some research about the market in south florida. right now, it's ridiculous for the buyers. i've seen some hole houses for like 300k and just thought, "wtf, that place is MAYBE worth 180k" i know it's wayy overpriced down here, but i don't really think it's going to sink. i just think that miami is movin up in the world and property value is rising just like in cali and NYC.
*edit* yea that guy wasn't my friend. i couldn't stand him actually. he IS a moron, but i was just pointing out that i could certainly do better than he could, and he wasn't doing too bad. he had a nice condo he was remodelling, drove a decent car and was pretty financially stable and he just sold dumb little older condos here and there...nothing major. |

From what I've read, Slylee, I'd have just one thing to say: You've made your choice, what are you really scared of? If it's really your parents, it's alright, by the way.
Most importantly, how much time have you got left until you graduate? If graduation is just one year ahead, you don't even need to drop out :) |

You may spend $200 in that Lincoln Towncar while attempting to land a newly wed couple their dream home. After being a chaffeur for 300 miles, day after day after day, they find a home! Yet, it doesn't pass inspection. They may find another, as long as the owner will repair the roof and fix the cracks in the foundation. You've got to wheel and deal not only the potential buyers, but the seller as well. I've been with my grandmother while she was hosting open house and a agent from an opposing company walks in, distributes her business card and speaks of her commission rates. When a seller is opting between 30 different realtor cards & companies stashed on their table, what can you deliver that the others don't? Not to mention!! I can't even do lunch with my granny without her pulling over at any for sale by owners, making me drop of her company info :wtf: or having to hammer down her signs again after they've 'mysteriously' dissappeared. Again, not to deter you or doubt your ability, as I've been witness to the success in the field! However, if you were really wanted to devote yourself, do it now as in the next couple of years in Missouri, a degree will be required to receive your license. |

First of all, dont put school off pls.
Second, try to get your license while you still at school, then if scool fails you got real state, and if real state fails you got your degree
