well i just generally know what people want and i can read people well, which i think is key when finding a home for someone. i can't explain it, but i have a different approach to sales and i know most people would laugh and say it will get me no where, but i beg to differ. |
I'm not trying to bring down the good you are tring to project if you were to work in Real estate. But do keep in mind that most real estate agents don't give a crap about taste.
They go with the customers budget, even try to upsell but ultimately there is little to no personal contact as they are usually too busy thinking of the next appointment or next person they are going to try to 'rip off'.
Real estate agents are crooks. |

getting a degree from a liberal arts college is not a good idea.
I made over $35,000 a year without a degree and I know people who went to a 30,000 a year university and they are only making 18,00 to 25,000 plus they have student loans.
I went to a private college and it was really overated |

| What school are you going to ????.. Mi girlfriend went to the Miami Arts Institute I think it is ( the one on the OMNI ).. she works @ Saaks and from what I heard the school its been acreddited elsewhere and what-not. ( around the nation that is ). About Real- estate. I can tell you this much, that market here in South Florida its above saturated with agents lurking for the same goal. Interest Rates are going high now ( meaning, a weak point for real estate agents ).. and to be honest, its not as easy as it once was, in fact, if you dont have the desire, the right setting, right aproach and the right connections and networkings, then I wouldnt even dare to get into it. I have a friend whose been taking care of Eastern Shore Houses, Aventura, Golen beach area.. and he's been around 3 years trying to sell a house.. and nothing. He did some good thinking, stay in College and finish up he's major, the Real Estate was a part time where if he got something, he would have been able to have some assets to invest into something else that would have rewarded him in the long term. Think long term, dont think short term here. If you want all of what you said long term, stick with college, and if you watn to do real estate as a part time thing, try it, but dont leave your education behind. You've already invested into it, at least finish it. |

i live right by the Omni and Miami Art Institute. i'm at the ft. lauderdale one for the summer, but i was going to transfer to the one in miami for the fall. i know it's a really good school and it's highly accredited to a lot of companies in the appropriate industries n stuff, but it's just so damn expensive.
im gonna try to do real estate on the side, like ur friend. if it works out, cool, if not, whatever. |

What she needs to do is move away from the retardedness that is Florida. See above. |

anyway...i can't afford my school and it's pissing me off. i'm content with the fact that i wasn't a typical college type kid after high school. i graduated with a low C average and was well into my e-tard phase by the age of 18 and had no desire to go to college right away. i just wanted to find some office job, get a paycheck and do drugs/party every weekend and mooch off my mom or find roommates.

im basically you when you were 18. i dont think i can even pay for community college because ide rather roll/smoke/trip and go on road trips to events, raves, hotels than save up. i see it as a phase that will pass, and then ill get settled on something. i know i will. im enjoying the rolling/tripping/stoning while it lasts and im young.
oh yea, raves are coming back!!! |

| I can see Jamie closing real estate deal by snorting a line of coke with her buyer. Maybe a "quicky" for the big deals. |
