this is the dumbest statement i've ever heard on the topic of pizza and toppings. how can you say that mushrooms do not add texture OR flavor?? they are extremely flavorful and they have a rubbery, meaty type texture. |

Extra Sauce, extra Cheese, pepperoni, and bacon (either 1-2 at a time or all of the above)
Then spices:
Garlic Powder and Parmessean Cheese, and possibly salt if the pizza is really bland tasting. |

never liked ham or bacon as a topping. i'm not really a big ham eater to begin with. the only time i like ham is if it's boarshead flavored deli ham (thin sliced) for sandwiches, but that's it.
and bacon i only like as breakfast food or on a BLT. i think bacon is way too powerful of a flavor to put on pizza, it takes over the whole flavor of the pizza in my opinion. same thing with putting it in salads or on a burger or something. |

i agree, i don't really like ham by itself. but it's good on pizza. along with bacon.
the ultimate pizza:
sausage, pepperoni, ham, bacon, peppers, onions, mushrooms, black olives, tomato, jalapeno, pepperocini peppers, shrimp, in everything.. black pepper, salt free garlic seasoning... side of sauce for dipping. damn this thread is making me hungry.
you know what else is seriously good, but sounds weird as ? pineapple and pepperoni. strange, i know, but pineapple is frickin good on pizza. |

I have heard of that but I havent tried it. I do hear that pineapples increase your sperm count tho ;) |

that's not weird at all. i love sweet combined with spicy and/or salty. that sounds good! the hawaiian pizza is pineapple with ham, but since i dont like ham, i think pepperoni would be a nice replacement...and add some onion and pepperoccini..(sp?) |
