Very good game overall.
Difference was clinical finishing. Saviola had a very good game and Riquelme was all over the place first half.
Drogba was very impressive IMO and that Zokora dude.
Going to be a very interesting group |

good first half, crap second half.
Ivory Coast is a good team but Argentina was too much for them. I think Argentina is the most solid team i've seen so far. Fairly good defence, good strikers, and a fantastic Riquelme setting up the assists. The second half was very poor but i think that was due to them going into effort-management mode. Almost cost them the win. |

| the argentinians didnt deserve that win, its too bad cote d'ivoire lacked someone to finish their plays for them and put the ball in. Good game for cote d'ivoire though, first game ever in the world cup and against argentina! |

Great game! So far every game of the tournament has been pretty entertaining except maybe England's. Very impressed by Cote d'ivoire's performance. I personally think the "deserved" a tie but Argentina was just way more effective. Too bad Cote d'ivoire is in such a tough group. Can't wait for the Netherlands vs Argentina game.

Chances are by that time atleast one of them will already be qualified, meaning someone will put the reserve players on the pitch and the game will suck. It should have been drawn for the 1st or 2nd round :\ |

That would be cheap on either of their parts, but it is a possibility. |

Not if Netherlands does well against Serbia and Montenegro and Argentina continues to do well (both very likely) because if that is the case, they will want to be first in the group so the match should be good. |
