Argentina won its first game.Its wasnt the prettiest played futbol but a win was a must.Very surprised about this Ivory Coast team in where they dominated just about the majority of the game.Thats the reason why I wasnt too happy about this win.Riquelme needs to show himself more and even in the moments most needed like when we had no control of the game for most part of the second half.
Also dissappointed on the changes the coach did, imo I think he waited too long to make the subs.Instaed of Palacio it shouldve been Tevez going in for Crespo and take out Riquelme alot earlier and put in Messi/Aimar. |

Well 3 top 15 ranked teams are in GROUP E, so on paper thats the group of death:stongue: :stongue: just like last cup it was england, argentina, sweden
can't wait for that group to get started |

Indeed - a group of death with USA and Ghana? Even group F (Brazil, Croatia, Australia, Japan) and group G (France, Switzerland, Korea, Togo) are stronger. |

yea, and I also remember how ivory coast was suppose to rattle some cages yesterday? about the 5 page thread about how they were going to physically manhandle Argentina and win a lopsided victory....a win is a win. Experience is experience ;) |
