should of been 4-1:stongue:

cheers

16-1 vs african teams now

Argentina's playing was subpar for their stature, after seeing them play i dont think they're even going to be serious contenders for the cup. You can go on all you want about how good they are but they barely won against a team that has never played at World Cup level. Argentina should've won like 4-1 but with how they played a draw would've been more feasible if Cote d'Ivoire had more experience.

LoL don't be so biased... It was a very tough game for both sides, only difference is that Argentina didn't miss their scoring chances and Ivory Coast did miss their chances. Regardless, a good win for Argentina in this group of death.

IMO a draw would have been fair

I dont agree, on principle i do because Cote d'Ivoire had some solid game playing, but they were lacking the finishing so i wouldnt award them a draw because they need to work on that some more.

I have such an urge to go play now! I have to wait a couple of hours though and that sucks :(

idiotic for them to just put palacio in the front when noone else was there.... no wonder ivory coast scored...... every ing defender was on the offense.

anyhow fair play.. good game

Not being biased

Look at the England Game, it should of been 0-0 if anything. Paraguay scored the goal for England (thats my take)<
This game was played well, inexperience vs experience.

No matter how much you desire it, Argentina had the experience while Ivory didnt. No If's or But's

2-1

It was an expected Result, Argentina has played Ivory Coast only once, a 4-0 victory in 1992 in Saudi Arabia. Ivory Coast got better, 2-1 was fitting.

Thats exactly what i said only i remarked on the fact that Argentina played crappy for the quality of their players so any praise for them is underserved. IMO if a team doesnt put 100% they dont deserve anyone's respect.

:stongue:

Because of the lack of experience, a draw is fair?
Fact is, statistics were against the african powerhouse and Argentina cleaned house.

A fair score in other peoples eyes would of been 4-1
