To be honest, I have absolute no knowledge about Ghana's team... Therefore no idea what to expect from them.
Italy 1-0 because that's what they always do, score 1 and let the defense do the rest |
lol. so true. italians: talented + arrogant = lazy. that's always been their trademark :haha: anyway, hoping for 2-1. |

this will be the first real blow-out of the tournament
Totti is fit for once and Vieri is not on the team.
...5-0 is my prediction... but most likely 3-0 |

If Italy can't throw away their catenaccio against Ghana, they can well go home, the fraidy cats...
3-0 should be their scoreboard. |

I say Italy can come clean with a 1-0 win, although at the same time not underestimating Ghana as others have said. Italy always start their group stage games slowly and its proven to be seen so far that these African teams have suprised a few of us over the last days with their quick pace and counter-attack plays  .
Forza Italia ;) |

I think many underestimates Ghana's potential in this World Cup. I'm sure they'll show how good they can be when everyone is playing, not like the ACN earlier this year.
Their defence has to keep clean if they want to go anywhere during this World Cup. Ratomir Dujkovic has surely told Kuffour to be on his watch when Italy is attacking.
Kuffour is the best player in the defence, while their midfield is great with Stephen Appiah and Michael Essien. Both players are proven in the European Leagues even though Appiah didn't have a good season in Juve while playing there.
Muntari is a great forward when he starts, Eric and Otto Addo is two pretty ok players.
My biggest concern about Ghana is their goalkeeper, He can be great during games, but one the other hand very bad at times.
We all know Italy's squad very well, Totti is the keyplayer ofcourse, and Toni the most important player offensively together with Roma's captain. I would still love to see Perrotta or De Rossi play a game for Italy, they're two great players.
Still don't know whether Nesta is injured or not, we'll see if he starts, probably not. Zambrotta is injured though, he won't participate in this game. |

Ghana indeed is an ok team but I don't think they can win, or get a draw against Italy (although I would really like that :D).
Italy - Ghana: 2-0, but it could also be 1-0. It wouldn't surprise me if Italy is going to play really defensive after the 1-0 for them. Italy would try to control the match and try to score a second goal on the counter attack. In that case we probably are going to see a match like we've seen yesterday evening between portugal and Angola. |

| You also have to remember that Italy is a slow starting team in those tournaments. I hope Ghana plays well and tries to reach a draw so they can take on Czech Republic later on and go through.. |

| This should be a cruncher. The only thing that goes down faster than Juventus in a bribery scandal is anyone under one of Essien's 2 footed tackles. |
