i used to think that girls who liked bad guys were just really immature and insecure and didn't know what they wanted...i mean don't get me wrong, i still think that, but i realized that's not always the case. sometimes things dont turn out the way you want and you try to hold on to something that isn't there any more.
i think a lot of girls do that. when i was with my ex, i wasn't happy at all towards the end of our relationship, but i stayed with him for a while. all we did was party together and have horrible fights, bla bla bla. but he wasn't like that in the beginning when we first started dating. he was very sweet and charming and attentive and then he just started slowly acting like "himself" which is selfish and immature. he wasn't a good boyfriend at all, but i stayed with him and kept trying to make him be good to me. lol we're actually really good friends now which is weird, but we're just better buddies than bf/gf.
anyway, my point is that sometimes girls get tricked by guys who act a certain way in the beginning and once they get in too deep in the relationship it's hard to let go and they keep thinking and hoping he'll go back to the sweet guy he was when they first met.
but yea, nice guys definitely don't finish last with me. i love nice guys:) if i was single, i wouldn't be into that whole bad boy attitude at all. it's actually a turn off for me. |

and to add to what Slylee said about bad guys being sweet at first.
I think a lot has to do with the fact many of them are very smooth talkers. |

bad boys don't act like jerks first ....no one would date them otherwise .they are nice sweet and seem great but little by little they show u how they actually are and once ur trapped and fell in love with them .....that's hard to break up and they just abuse of the situation by being jerks and unrespectful
it's funny because after having dated a jerk u realize that they all seem the same and have like the same tactic to get girls ....high confidence ....full of themselves so once u dated one it's easy to recognize them .
A Nice guy who treats you well respects you and that u can trust is 1 million time better
and if he's cute and charming ....bingo
