ATB has produced some really great trance music.
I quite like Jonas Steur aswell, and a lot of Paul Van Dyk's older stuff was really clever, and subtle too, instead of having massive breakdowns and too many layers |

No, that's a load of rubbish. He didn't revolutionise anything. Those aren't even very good examples of minor innovation. |
i dont know what the hell your talking about.. thats a good example
so maybe he isnt a huge innovator in the music.. but his production style is unique and CREATIVE. and all over the place.. he can produce anything. and has followed the times quite nicely
lieb would probably be the greatest since his production list is huge and he has made tons of quality tracks i agree
but picotto falls into another category of greatness. Being unique and diverse. |

| Bill Laswell is FAR more diverse than Picotto. Where's the respect for him then? |

I didn't realise anyone produced trace at all...
But, if you're talking about Trance, it's Envio. Easy. |

Yes, which is not what you said. You said he revolutionised several genres, which is bull. It's hyperbole. You're claiming things happened when they didn't. |

well whos to say who did what im just looking at the years.. and the type of stuff hes done. Out of most italo producers in that era he was probably one of the only ones successful with trance. now hes great for the amount of successful genres he produced in.. especialy trance and hard techno.
When i say revolutionized im saying he added to the genre. and i gave that one example. I have to admit hes made a bigger contribution to techno then trance |
