it is for the sound system.......he played 3 years ago @ Avalon, and it was his 1st and last performance...my original statement wasn't denying that PvD has ever played @ Avalon...its the time period that the last performance was in, thats what was my main point....Sasha has spun 9 times in the past 2 years , Tiesto just did a back to back combo, why hasnt PvD been spining....? BECAUSE PVD SIMPLY DOESNT LIKE THE WAY HIS SOUNDS @ AVALON.....considering all the events he does on the WestCoast and avaoiding the biggest and quite possibly the baddest venue on the west is kinda too obvious....HIS INITIALS ARE PVD!!! HE DOESNT NEED 2 IMPROVE ANY RELATIONS WITH ANY PROMOTERS, I MEAN WHEN YOU ARE @ THAT LEVEL OF SICKNESS, WHO CARES WHO LIKE SYOU AND WHO DOESNT... |

What about when he played at the Mayan in September? Vanguard already had their set up. Why do you say it's because of the system? Prove it. |

all the dj's that spin @ Avalon, their music belongs to the HOUSE/PROG/DARK genre of music...IE, Sasha,Howells,Lawler,Zabiela,Sanchez,Tenaglia etc etc etc etc
(exception of FerryCorsten & Tiesto)
all the djs that spin @ Spundae, their music belongs to the TRANCE/TECHNO/MELODIC genre of music......IE,
AvB,A&B,Schulz,G&D,Rank1,etc etc etc etc etc
(exception of Haliwell,Dekay and few others)
its in common sense.......its strictly same dj's same venue i mean isnt it in obvious.............crowd and atmosphere have alot 2 do with it also, but thats 2ndary |

No it's not obvious or common sense. If that's the case, Avalon would not book GEORGE ACOSTA, Tiesto, Matt Darey, Above & Beyond, Ferry, Judge Jules, etc... Yes, Avalon is geared towards house, and Spundae towards Trance. But are you forgetting that Vanguard is geared towards D&B and Deep House. Evenmore, it's more known as a hip hop venue. So unless you have some hard facts to support your theory, I'm tossing it out the window.
