do you really thing the DJs tell their booking agents that they will or won't play a venue based on a sound system that they remember wasn't that great? doesn't happen. heck, most DJs have no idea how it sounds on the dance floor, because the are behind the decks! :rolleyes:
you book the DJ, pay their fee and they show up. its as simple as that.
as Woody noted, most big DJs and agencies have long-standing relationships with LA promoters and clubs - that's why you the DJs tend to play the same place all the time. |

actually yes it is that simple.
you think that a big DJ is going to turn down $30K+ from a venue because they somehow have heard the sound system and don't think its that great? no way in the world. i didn't say the DJ doesn't want it to sound great... but I can 100% guarantee that the sound system doesn't come into play.
look at how many venues that the top DJs play...how will they know how it sounds in each place, and what if they have never played there before? there is no list going around saying where the sound system sucks and to avoid playing there. |

Yet again with the threat of physical violence (or at least implying it) because you can not come close to matching my wit or duel with me intellectually. I love how your only recourse after being owned on an online forum is violence, that really speaks to what type of person you are. As for the face to face thing, I wouldn't waste my time with a swine such as yourself. I am not looking to confront you, fight you, or have any type of physical incursion for that matter, I am a beyond the "thug life". If you were ever to strike me rest assured that I wouldn't fight back and you would find yourself in quite a legal predicament: aggravated assault, battery etc... and don't forget that it is all pre-meditated so the penalties will be much more harsh. |
