Yeah level 3 with the submarine and the strict time limit was ridiculous but could be done. After that tho it was pretty plain sailing.
My worst
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest (SNES) - Absolute rubbish tarnishes the final fantasy name.
Aero Guage (N64) - I borrowed this unplayable and tried to be a complete rip off of F-zero. |

look mate, this thread is about the WORST games. not games you didnt like much, or that you thought sucked a bit of cock. the WORST.
if you put those 3 as the worst youve played, youve only ever played 3 games and dont have a clue anyway. there are COUNTLESS games in that genre that are worse than those 3.
your criticisms dont even come close to putting those 3 in the worst category. |

...this game, to me, signaled the beginning of the end for the FF series. Not one game has been released in the series since then that I've thought was worthwhile.
To go from one of the greatest games in the series (FF7) to absolute in one title is a pretty impressive feat in my opinion... |
I agree, but i like how ff9 kinda went back to it's roots. maybe we'll see good things with ff12. i stopped playing the series after 9 though. once again though, FFVI FOR SNES FTW

lol, what he said. by far the worst FF was FF:MQ. come on now.
my picks:
wolfenstein 3d, heretic, hexen, etc. (pc). i know it's a "classic" but that game seriously makes me motion sick from playing it. though a classic FPS that i think everyone should check out is "rise of the triad"
record of lodoss war (dreamcast). what i had thought was a fun diablo clone ended up being a bizarre, pointless, and boring action-rpg. no plot, confusing dungeons, dumbass npc's that yell the same "HIYA" every time they attack. you get the idea.
ice climber, superman, attack of the killer tomatoes, pictionary (nes). i just don't see the point.
any first person, turn based rpg i.e. AD&D, Wizardy, Ultima, etc. for consoles. terrible, terrible, confusing games. you shouldn't have to draw a map to see where you've been.
olympic summer games (snes). if you can't figure out how to play the game within two minutes without reading the manual, the game is bad. |

again, you cant possibly put down wolf 3d as one of the worst games EVER. not only was it a classic, it launched an entire genre as we know it. love it or hate it, you cant call it the worst.

That is true. Without Wolf 3D, we wouldnt't have DOOM, Duke Nukem, Half-Life, Counter-Strike....everything in the 1st person genre, indeed. |
