Because I saw someone mention this game in another thread, I had to resurrect this one.
One other game I really hated and thought was one of the worst games ever...
Secret of Mana (SNES.)
One of these days I have to remember to smash this cartridge with a hammer.
Other titles I despise include...
Castlevania II: Simon's Quest (NES)
Super Godzilla (SNES). NES Godzilla > this game. At least you could actually FIGHT in the NES version!
Ironsword: Wizards and Warriors 2. They should have never attempted sequels to the first and best game.
Wizards and Warriors 3. ^see above

i liked secret of mana. meh. it was a nice change of pace from the average turn-based rpgs that square released. i thought the ring menu system was pretty damn clumsy though.

Hmm. That's hard question, i actually do not play bad games! When i turn on game and don't like what's going on there i can never play this game again. But first view can be wrong, some game need to feel it then you start enjoy it.
But what a good games i saw in that thread!!! Earth Worm Jim - awesome game, ALL my friends liked it a lot, masterpiece! Design, music, characters. I played first time that game before i bought Sega. And it was one of a few reasons why i actually bought console! And that game isn't hard at all! I play all game at the beginning of hardest settings (less lives, less continues, hardest difficulty and so on). And finished it without any problems.
Metroid prime i saw here. I didn't play that game but i heard that game just awesome, game magazins put max points to that game. That means something! "Secret of mana" i played a little. I don't like RPG, but that game had so nice design. My friend finished it and he likes that game a lot.
Some japanese said Zelda Ocarina Of Time is one of worst games ever (bad graffics, music e.t.c.)! Guys, it doesn't make sense! It was best graffics at that time on all platforms! I still have that cartridge! Also wanna play Majora's Mask. Never played it before.
Honestly, i didn't see any really awfull game in whole thread! You guys blame games the way "It's too hard", or "Too Easy", "That game has too bright colors", "Main character is an animal which i hate" or something else. All those reasons are't related to quality of game. I saw such bad games that they even do not worth a second of someone's attention! I can't name them because i do not remember or don't know titles. I saw one game less than a year ago on some videogames channel like "Gamenetwork" or "Game One". Looks like 2D graffics, game process similar to great game on NES, Sega, SNES "Battle Toads Double Dragon". You control some tomato which goes from left to right (in best traditions of NES games) and kill other vegetables with knife! And it's on Playstation 2!!! I was laughing a few minutes till the end of that clip.:D
If i remember some awfull game i'll post it here. For now i can'trname even 1 game.

djash
No, man. Spyro is good enough! I completed 1st on PLaystation on 120%. And almost complete Spyro on Playstation 2 (came to final Boss' doors, but didn't enter until gather all eggs) and then game stucked at save place and all my save went to hell! I was so ing angry.

true crime 2. i tested this game at activision and it was by far the worst game i have ever played. the cheapest gta rip off ever. there were like 4 big missions and 8 small ones in each big one. the side quests that you can do, like learn new fighting styles and different weapons is a joke. this game had so much potential to be really good but it was just so rushed and was just cheap . the bonus level was retarded too.
legend of mana and children of mana
bah, after the secret of mana i was expecting something big from these games, legend of mana was just a retarded game that i could not get into and the children of mana is just one of the most retarded games ever
verndogs
other games that ruined my childhood:
back to the future (NES) - stupid diner stage plus painful monotonous gameplay FTL
clayfighters (SNES) - controls were horrendous and sluggish
battletoads (NES) - great concept, but level 3, nuff said
hard drivin (Genesis) - you wanna feel how to drive through a sea of molasses? this is the game for you

After watching all of the Angry Video Game Nerd's videos, he's pretty much spot on about all of them. I didn't play a great majority of them but the videos alone proved their horror. I actually didn't think Friday the 13th was that bad but it still had its drawbacks. A Nightmare on Elm Street, though...that was godawful. I wonder why he didn't review JAWS? That game was also made by LJN (they made Friday the 13th and Nightmare.) T&C Surf Design, also by LJN, was pretty ty, especially during the surfing competition.
CONNERMAN2000
Corpse Killer for Sega Saturn is one of the worst pieces of I've ever played. It was 1 of those FMV games where it was like a movie but you played it.

I still have mine for Sega CD 32X. I didn't think it was THAT bad but it was a pain in the ass, I'll admit. Never played the Saturn version though. Come to think of it, I didn't even know it made it onto that system.
