ATB sucked my friend...and he was never good, just popular since his music is aired by every station because even NON trance lovers can relate to it since its EURO not even trance...WEAK SET! WEAK DJ! WEAK RUDE STONNED ASIAN CROWD 4 the main room @ the Guv!

if anything DON'T you ING DARE call ATB Euro:whip:

i wouldn't say atb is euro.. but 85% of his set was b-list cheesy celine dion vocal euro , so ummm.. what would you call him then?

all he needed to play was that "i need a miracle, i wanna be your girl" track and he would've had a solid euro set lol. :p

Highlight of the nite would be hearing "motorcycle - as the rush comes" in the main room! ...

Agreed - that track did it for me... got there when ATB was on left 4:30ish I think and the crowd was too packed in the Guv / very stuffy... also heard a girl say some guy grabbed her lets just say in an "inappropriate spot" to be nice... one thing to have people bump into you but another to be "molested".

They didn't let us in SkyBar ): after 3:30 when they started letting people up. Was ok but I think it could have been better w/ more space / air.

Ok, since this is your first time at the Guv, you clearly have not yet had your share of bad experiences with the asian crowd. I myself had plenty last night and nights before so im not even going to go there...not to mention the fact that you can not have a good crowd when the crowd is made up of STONNED ASIANS who just stand there like ZOMBIES with no reaction to the music! Now...you are saying that whoever is popular is good? i fully disagree with that. Being popular doesnt not automaticaly qualify as GOOD! (look at Anna Kournikova for example...) Mark Oliver, canadian DJ, resident at the Guv..ranked 200+ something OWNED ATB. His set was energetic and diverse! Thumbs up 4 MO! so that's another proof that those ranking dont mean anything! Anyways, glad you had a good time and enjoyed the music. I myself think ATB was more then just weak with a very borring set with all songs following the same line.

Its funny how to every place I go outside of Ottawa I always tend to make it to "a good night" (ARIA, THE DOCKS, GUV). I guess knock on wood :). And for the record Anna Kournikova was actually really good at tennis when she first came onto to the scene...but her looks made her more money then her tennis skills so what can you do. And yeah Mark Oliver is sick I said it in all my posts (does he produce as well ?)... I would not leave Ottawa if we had a DJ like him...and like I said before Mark was spinning for what 7 of the 9 hours the club was so its obviously easier for him to make a better track selection etc. but then again i know jack all about djing. I went there for the music and to have fun. I had both so I am happy ! And yeah...it was 20 BUCKS to get inn my god so cheap ! I definetly got my 20 bucks worth.

Finally......time for a review.

For those that enjoyed ATB....I'm glad you enjoyed it....personally, ATB did absolutely nothing for me and I am so glad the Gallery was there to save the night until MO came back on.

I think my days of trance are behind me.....I enjoy listening to trance but reality is trance doesn't make me dance anymore....especially when it's the same tracks over and over again...it could have been anyone spinning up there because most of the tracks are ones that somebody spun the week before or will be spinning the next week....but whatever.

So Tasha and I went over to the Gallery and met up with some of the best party people I know....you guys know who you are....and you guys made my B-Day that much better.

Max - I survived....barely....what did you do to me.....wow.....ummm...no more rides in the mercedes.

Cam - you are just as evil as Max....GhostBusters was definately the track of the night.

Tyler - So glad to see you out there....haven't really been able to party with you in what seems like forever.

Jody - my bodyguard....so awesome to see you out....you are such a trooper...Its always a better night when you are there.

To everyone else.....so glad to see you all....my brain still hurts.
