Truly Materazzi must've said something racist to really tick off Zidane. Zidance is such a matured player, I highly doubt he would do something like that in a game of that caliber. Italian team is so childish, I dont think they knew what they had just won... fondling the cup like its a toy, putting a hat on it, and in one point Materazzi even tried to put it in his shirt... stupid.
...and thats their captain :rolleyes:
To me, Zidane still played great thoroughout the whole cup, and I wont let something like this take over his whole career an what he has contributed to the game. I just wish he could headbutt the rest of the team too, except Buffon, he's cool.

Zidane has long been one of my favorite players. But that was a disgraceful move. I have a tough time believing that anything could have warranted a move like that, especially in the WORLD CUP FINAL in the final ing minutes, where your team clearly has the advantage and momentum to win!!!
I really think that had Zidane contained himself, France would have won. |

It's still inexcusable. Especially when France had been dominating Italy for the last hour and had the win within their grasp. |
