Obviously FIFA also needs to investigate on what grounds the referee sent Zidane off the pitch... by this I mean, FIFA knowing who watched Zidane headbutting Matterazzi and then suspending that person for not stopping the game the second Zidane commited the foul and also having waited like 3 minutes after the ref stopped the match to actually tell him what Zidane had done.
Italy will keep the WC as they should, but if it is proved that the refs made their decision based on video footage (explaining the delay on the decision about Zidane's red card), they should definitely be suspended from reffing, as it is against the rules, sadly but it is the truth... FIFA needs to clear this mess up, the sooner the better. |

| the 4th ref saw the headbutt on the giant screen, no one else from the refs saw the incident with their own eyes. |

| Fifa, the stadium, attendees have all confirmed they did not show the replay on the screens in the stadium. Fifa even bans replays not to do with offsides and goals I believe |

Which brings out the next and most logical question, if one of the refs watched Zidane's headbutt with their own eyes, why did they wait for so long to send him off?... such delay doesn't make any sense, at all.
And if none of the refs saw it with their own eyes, who informed them about Zidane's actions?... and even worse, what's FIFA gonna do with those refs, in my opinion some kind of penalty at the very least or a very severe punishment should be given to them. Those kind of ups at the WC finals can not be forgotten. |

the giant screen was showing the same thing we were seeing at home, the exchange with both players and then the headbutt.
the 4th saw it on the screen not with his own eyes. |

hmmm I'm missing something here... I watched the finals via Directv, and the argument and the headbutt was shown on the replay, not live, and according to InterMilan there were no replays showing the headbutt on the big screen at the stadium, so how did the 4th referee watch it on the screen?... can you guys clear it up? |

just watch replay carefully again, the 3rd red saw it! that's why Buffon right away ran to him and pointed to him that u saw it. |

Why did he wait for so long then to inform the ref?... I thought they had some kind of communication between the refs... he could have easily told him "hey send Zidane off immediately for headbutting Matterazzi".. |

who ing cares who saw, when they saw or didn't see or if they saw in the replay. the zidane should've either a) gotten kick out the way he did - with a red card, or b) gotten his head split open by italian cleats.
glad it ended with option a)
why the long discussion? who ing cares... what he did was inexcusable.

yeah, honestly, i'm sick of excuses.
90% a team loses is because they weren't good enough. yet in a defeat everyone always says they were part of the 10%. |
