err, most of us could easily make contests full of stuff nearly no one could identify... that's not the aim here.. unless we see average scores of around 35% (which could be the case with this contest), i don't think it will be the aim for quite a while either |
Exactly... For example, what if someone included 10 noise IDs? Who could possibly identify that? I myself have around 3 GB of rhythmic noise, but even with that I couldn't identify a single track of that kind (okay, I could identify one, my favorite one :D). |

First scores!
Day 1 was quite peacefull, 7 contestants entered.
Only one contestant managed to get a 3-digit score, with a crazy bastard breathing up his nik, sorry neck. :)
Just take a look at the stats.
Current Standings:
Mr.Mystery 119
DRM 97
Tribu 61
Aabech 53
Gauss 41
SYSTEM-J 39
Psy-T 37
Nik is starting strong with a massive score of 119, but I'm sure that as more contestants enter we will see tight competition for pole.
The runner-ups will surely improve their scores too as they figure out some remixes and stuff.
Unique ID's:
Mr.Mystery 6
Tribu 3
Psy-T 1
Gauss 1
DRM 1
Not too surprising who is in the lead here either, judging from the points...
Most Fully ID'd tracks:
#75, #77 with 5 full ID's
#15, #34, #45, #47, #48 with 4 full ID's
Your knowledge of 80's pop really surprises me (or then again, not). ;)
Not to mention #75. :D
Useless stats:
Our contestants have a average of 0.93 points per track in the trance section, 0.72 in electro, and 0.51 in other.
Are you going to let our man of mystery be the king of the hill or do you have what it takes to Take Him Down? |

I see the usual pattern here - I'm in the lead until the very last week and then I'll suddenly end up somewhere in the middle... |

| Actually I, for once, won't be able to name more tunes than I already did.. I just don't know that many of these tunes :( |

Come on people, there are still 15 samples that no one has scored a single point on!
That's 15 unique ID's waiting!
Not much has happened since the first scoring table, so if I don't get any more entries/updates within the next 5 hours I'll skip this days standings. |

| Very well.. Posted some more guesses, just for you! |

First update!
The competition finally has 10 competitors and the race seems to be at it's hottest.
Is Mr.Mystery still safe in the lead? Read on!
Current Standings:
Mr.Mystery 119
DRM 97
Tribu 96 (+35)
Aabech 85 (+32)
Push2005 63
Gauss 41
SYSTEM-J 39
Psy-T 37
FuzzyChicken 26
THE_Chris 25
Nobody challenges Mr.Mystery by a long shot.
Aabech and Tribu both make over 50 % increases in their scores, but neither can get past DRM to claim the second place.
Push2005 had the third place until Tribu's and Aabech's updates but lands flat at fifth place.
FuzzyChicken and THE_Chris are holding up the rear (surprised?).
Unique ID's:
Mr.Mystery 4 (-2)
Tribu 2 (-1)
Psy-T 1
Gauss 1
DRM 0 (-1)
Tribu wreaks havok in the unique ID's by removing two of Mr.Mystery's and DRM's only unique, but looses one himself by Aabech's update.
Most Fully ID'd tracks:
#75 with 7 full ID's
#45, #77 with 6 full ID's
#34, #39, #40, #47, #66 with 5 full ID's
Some stats:
6 uniques left in trance, 6 in electro, and 1 other.
Will Tribu's and Aabech's hot streaks continue, or will someone else surprise? Till next time! |
