this has been news for a while now and i must say im a bit dissapointed... mainly because im just over the crowds and e that go to these things...
some of the music is ok, i went to benassi at room a few months back, and he was pretty good, he has some dirty beats but he throws in some euphoric trance breaks every so so which i appreciated... thats the italian in him :whip:
house just isnt the same as trance

Oooh, I tried love! I'd heard it was beautiful people and super cool etc etc but that the music was superb so I'd love it regardless.
For the crowd - I've never ever seen so many girls give each other death stares in a bathroom...
For the music - it started off as vocal Nova house (we got there bout 12) and then proceeded to... I don't even know what you'd call it. But you def couldn't dance to it! I bopped in my pretty heels and pouted my lips in a sulky expression and looked pretty cool and unexcitable for a bit (I forgot to take my handbag though, which was unfortunate, I felt really out of place) and then just had to leave at about 1.30 it was so boring! Not completely sure if it was the crowd or the music or the combo which got to me.
Maybe I got it on an off night? I've heard so many people rave about it that I'm sure that's the case.
Maybs you can do a minimal set there, and then I can come and actually dance at 161?! |
