Hmmm. My friends and I have an early 21st and then we're looking at going out for a few hours afterwards.
Kind of tossing up between QB or Sunny.. not really sure which to go with. QB is obviously going to be very housey.. what style of music is Martinez? I was at the last Sunny and found it a bit too proggy for my likings.

Sunny FTW! will be minimal etc but quality crowd, mad set up and no ego ;)
Famous will be pretty cool to me thinks but more "did someone say onelove?" cool.
Plus u can always go to famous the week after which is what i plan to do as sunny isnt as often! :D |

I've never listened to a whole lot of techno. I love my trance - is there a good chance I'd enjoy this?
If so, is there any kind of guest list I and my friends can get in on? ;) |

not tech as in full on mate, more the deeper end of town ;)
not sure on the list tho, maybe PM Virginia, she's pretty well hooked up with the sunny crew :) |

If your up for a big night then, maybe you could consider popping into both events?? :)
I have many friends that are going to come and check out QB early, and then go over to Sunny a bit later on :)
Famous will be on every week, but its the OPENING night of Future Entertainments first club!!!! :D It will be something so different, and something to remember!! Its not going to be cheesy house, just more like fun party music that you can dance too :)
I LOVE my trance too, like you, but also find some house very fun. :)

Everyone who ever goes to Sunny ALWAYS has a fantastic time :), its not really my sort of thing.. mind you I only have been once for a short time. If you have never been to Sunny, you definately have to go at least once! Its a long running institution which has a loyal crowd with a fabulous reputation :)
Even better .. come and check out both events, for an interesting and musically diverse night :D |

well any of my friends that like the housey electro sh!t that's ruling the scene (mostly girls) .. and yer .. well thats the start .. i dont have any POW friends unfortunately :S im not that cool ...
and no stevey the poster isn't coming back and that pizza u had was awesome but the risotto i had gave me food poisoning ! this is the 1st time out of bed |

update! because of the opening night guest list for this saturday must be emailed to me by 3:30pm tomorrow (Wednesday)
and every other saturday by 6:30pm

Methinks Quinn and Mark James and Famous will = undergroundish (ie not Nova Metro house) proggy housey tunes with a bit of 'OMG I forgot about this song choooon' and minimal cheese. Opening night is a one off actually, so it should be massive and awesome.
Methinks Sunny does = entrapment on a dancefloor with slick prog, rarely 'OMG choon' unless you're the biggest prog head out (did hear Phil K drop Whole Lotta Love last time I was there though, OMG choon! ;) ) Regular Sunny so prob not massive but will def be awesome cos it always is.
So yep, depends what you're after on this particular Saturday. Don't think you'll go wrong with either. |
