That's true and the Coliseum is right next door! That's where the first Giant Village was held back in 2003, well it was NYE 2002 to be exact.

It was July 2000. I remember it very well. We drove around the Shrine Auditorium and saw the huge line! :eyes: I kinda felt like I had fugged up by NOT buying tickets but at the same time, said "Oh well."
Yeah I was still a bit wet behind my EDM ears and didn't want to see Sasha & Digweed at that time. I guess it was cuz I couldn't get into some of their music back then. The music was a bit different from what I got introduced to... yeah TRANCE ala Oakenfold, PVD, Christopher Lawrence, and a few other TRANCE DJs.
So, instead of going to that event, my b/f and I went and got some not so tiny tattoos on our backs. :thepirate |

hahaha... yeah cuz now we will always remember NOT going to that event. It's OK though cuz we made up for it at C2K in Vegas and their prior events at the Mayan! :D :tongue3 :D |
