aw i was so excited i didn't read the fine print: MULTI STAGE
the sports arena is considered downtown but i HOPE TO GOD it's not there. that place has the worst drinks/prices ever. AND it's always all-ages (fakkk that) never been to the bonaventure, what's it like? i will laff if this is @ staples center. maybe we can all pitch in and get a box office :stongue: |

| Don't think it will be the Sports Arena, usually TAO is there. I still think it's The Mayan. And Ivan, i'm pretty sure The Mayan is bigger than Avalon. Infact, I KNOW it's bigger than Avalon...3 floors and it's just ing huge. I don't know what they did for Kazell and The Faint, maybe they blocked a part of the dancefloor off like they did for Satoshi. But it's gigantic, I don't expect you to remember what it looked like for Digweed so don't worry :p |

ya i know it's 3 stories but i was just thinking of the square footage. for the giant afterparty, everyone was on the first floor, nobody was really upstairs. i think the mayan has better sound than avalon, i really hope it's hear and not made out to be some hooj spectacle. i'd rather pay 100 dollars for my ticket and have it be somewhere smaller, than pay 50 and have it be with like 10,000+ people. |

remember the venue doesn't have to be one typically used as a concert venue.
the Convention Center could hold a party like this for example.
I know in the past Giant looked at the Staples Center but for a couple of reasons it didn't make sense. |

The main problem with indoor areas that are not typically used for music events is the acoustics. JVM, Sasha, & Digweed are all pretty picky when it comes to sound quality. This is why they lugged a Phazon system around with them during the Delta Heavy tour. |
