Been meaning to get around to reading the copy i bought of 'The Age Of Spiritual Machines'

that is true, when it comes to cor, my attention span is significantly shorter, then with books |

i'll recommend these two. very "different" fantasy. this author has a unique approach to magic. i won't reveal what it is in either cases because that will ruin it. mistborn being an especially satisfying read.
