There is ALWAYS something to bitch about; long line-ups, gay guys, cracked out asians, pricing, heat, capacity, no water fill-ups, etc, etc.. and these things could ruin a great dj's performance, which is too bad.

But aside from that, this time the packness was unbearbale and ridiculous, even the patio was ing packed all the time.. I've never seen/expected this from Sonic - especially this party.

And why can't people bitch, this is what a review is made for, no?:conf:

I honestly didn't think it was that packed. It was busy, but bearable. The heat was the clincher.

"its too packed" and "its too hot" being the main ones.

unless you were there you should probably shut up now... you don't know what you're talking about, and people just might start to remember this stupidity next time you have some legitimate beef with something.

ive been to ridiculously hot clubs...

it was then that water and ice cube fights broke out and an even better time was had by all!

So i do know what im talking about ;)

because i actually have a differing opinion?

LOL

thats funny
Skipper
Jay, be real...why can't you accept the idea that it was, in fact, way too hot? to the point of it being a safety issue?

Just because everyone was too ed up to care back when you partied 10 years ago doesn't mean that those parties weren't unsafe either.

I hear what you are saying about heat being the sign of a good party - I have been to those parties and enjoyed them - but this was a step above that.
Jayx1
LOL i would probably bet there were less ed up then now..

but the fact is that people used to make the best of everything. I rarely went away from a party bitching about it and if i did it was probably due to personal reasons.

*I* (and my friends) were always sober btw ;)
Skipper
Well, the truth is you can only bet, because you never actually go to these parties that you try to review.

HOT
Special K
i had fun.

that was my first time @ sonic ... i totally wasnt planning on going but i decided to hit it up last minute and im glad i did. i had never heard farina b4, and i wasnt sure if i would like his sound but im happy to say that i enjoyed the tunes he was playing (for the most part). if anything it made for a nice change of pace from the music i normally rock out. nice consistent chuggy rolling basslines. good ...

also i dont think it was rammed AT ALL (compared to other parties ive been to) ... and was it hot? sure. unbearably hot? not for me no.

:p :D

hopefully they can book some more half decent djs instead of the usual circuit / tribal house djs they book so i can have some more reasons to check this place out.
