correct me if i'm wrong but the israeli government said that it would wipe hezbollah off of the map. it hasn't. add to this that this is the longest war israel has ever fought. i think this is close to becoming a defeat for israel. |

| It's sad but it's true. Wrong strategy by incompetent, impotent leaders. Olmert, Peretz and Haluz can already looks for new jobs as far as I'm concernd. If you go for all the money, then you gotta give everything you have, the "war" waged by IDF was not black nor was it white. Definitely no way to defeat a guerilla army like Hizballah. Sadly the true winner here is Ahmadinjead. |

I really feel like Israel's been holding back myself. If they'd have been going all out, they'd have invaded Lebanon sooner, not just recently. Also, when did Israel say they'd wipe Hezbollah off the map in a month? As such, it's really difficult to say that they're losing just because they haven't, yet.
And I agree with ^^^ that the real winner are the Muslim extremists. This is just more fuel for the fire, especially if Israel wipes Hezbollah off the map. |

This isn't helping America at all. We're just going to look worse from this situation. The only way it "helps" us is if other coutries (Iran, Syria) get involved giving us an excuse to fight them. Even if that's what we wanted, now is the worst possible time for it due to other conflicts we're currently engaged in. |
