You have not spent much time in the 3 clubs she listed if that's your opinion. Anyone who says that Cielo is not a dancing oriented club either has no clue or is certifiable. |

in W3RD!!!!
notice how different (in a good way) his sets used to be before Ableton.
Notice the build up in Blank & Jones - Desire (PvD rmx), pay special attention to track selection, notice the variety - going from trance to D&B, prog, techno. Pay attention to sheer awesomeness of placement of such tracks as B&J - Desire, Aquanuts - Deep Blue Sea, Blackeight - the Silence, BBE - 7 Days and 1 week, and so on. Pay extra attention to amount of time given to each track. This is what i'd call "mixing", "track selection", "set structure", and "pure musical extasy".
Now, this would be considered a classic, mind-blowing set.
"the mothain saga continues!" :tongue3
p.s. no drop outs, no crappy transitions, no trainwrecks. Perfect. This is the PvD that we used to know and love. Not the one that keeps on showing up more and more often over the last few years. I can tell he's gotten tired of "old" style and tries to evolve. If you like it - great. Old fans go, new fans come - I say. |

Who in this thread goes to EVERY event and constantly has a list of complaints? If anything, a lot of the complaints were from people who I rarely see post on here. |
I am saying every event that they go to...obviously one can not make every event in NYC, that wouldn't make much sense now would it? |

The sad thing is, I'm not a veteran. These are all from before I got into EDM. I was still listening to Phish back then.

We both know what the other meant. Anyhow, who that wrote a poor review in this thread complains about every trance event that they attend. As I said before, a lot of the people who complained about this gig aren't really board regulars, so that's why I'm curious. |
