Just amazing, 10 years!? I have only had the pleasure for attending this complex for the last four years, and what a four years it has been! I've made so many friends, and had so many good times there since I startying partying, and I will always be thankful.

They consistantly bring in great talent, and hold the all access events which we just crave, which we cannot get anywhere else in the city.

Does anybody have a nice littile history for us yongins? I know it has not always been the Guv.

Favorite momment: LOL '02 (first lol)
It was my first 19+ party, and it was just mental. Deep Dish and Danny Howells in the Kool Haus and Armin in the Guv. I just remember waiting for the peak in Danny's set, and I was not only greated by a great song, but streamers pouring out from the ceiling, perfectly timed with the breakdown. Walked out to the quiet harbour at 8:30am with Deep Dish still pumpin inside the KH. <--I will never forget going from thumpin prog to dead quiet.

it really is amazing for a club to be open for 10 years in this day and age AND be successful as it currently is

i really dont like going there anymore unless its to go upstairs to the drink or skybar just because i cant stand the crowd in the main room (crowd has changed soooooooooo much its unbelievable) but man back when i first started going there in 1999 up until around 2001 / 2002 that place was ing awesome for me! had soooooooo many good nights there back in the day!

Do you think it was the crowd that changed, or you? ;)
Special K

So any fav momments from the 'hay day' of the Guv?

In terms of my fav nights at guv, i would say my some of my favourites were labour of love '03 (and meeting ferry before it at the pub), decadence '04. My #1 night at guv though was not too long ago, march '04, when ferry dropped that crazy unexpected 8hour set. That was awesome. Been to guv/warehouse before in the early 2000s when i just turned 19 (and some other parties before that), but it was more so to go to a club than actually go there for a performer. Still though, great times.

Speaking of guv 10 year, im only saying this because a friend and i talked about this recently, but since armin ferry & tijs have been here in aug & sept (or will be here), that kinda sets the stage for PVD @ guv 10 year dont you think? He's booked a couple days before in chicago.

Wishful thinking, my friend. We can only dream...

I have also had some amazing times at The Guvernment.

The place knows how to throw massive uber-parties and I'm happy to participate! ;)

heck, pvd hadnt come to Toronto like 2 years before playing at guv 7 year, seems liek the same situation... who know there may not even be trance that night (maybe guv will make it a techno/prog party), but im gonna take the optimistic approach
