he may just read this forum u know!!! Smarten UP!! Just like you this weekend you could have been "off beat matching" too, DJ's have their day's too, but to dedicate such a thread to his dispolal I am appauled - he's a Legend!! aNd don't forget that!

Dallastar:eyespop:

I mean you no harm ;)

well this is a place to voice your opinion so that is all that i am doing. i just think that before he decides to jump around and act all crazy he should make sure he has the beats matched. honestly M & S sounded 600 times better than he did and once again i have to say....that is just my opinion. it shouldnt mean anything to anyone else who doesnt feel the same way.

That might be the case, but M&S ain't got nothing on Glaude. His track selection, energy, crowd interaction, and ridiculousness make up for his lack of mixing skills. I know you were having quite alot of fun dancing to his set. Why would you pay to just judge a deejay's technicalities? Just dance! :p

man honestly i wish it wa sstill like that for me. thats how it was before i started djing. trust me...when you become a dj you notice EVERYTHING! i wish i could just dance and not care but unfortunatley i do analyze how the dj does his thing.

yea, ur right, u do notice more... its the same with anything really (for ex. piano, etc.) but it just depends on how much you let it bother you.

EDIT: it also depends on how bad it is too, lol.

honestly the only reason i did this is because i never saw one person mention the fact that his mixes were off all night.

Honestly should have went and posted that in the review thread.

and then there was Tiesto @ Dragonfly......which was a paramount waste of time, and no amount of Glaude dollars wasted will outdo Tijs live-"Sat".

If I could submit my reciepts to that Dutch bastard I would.

Sorry to hear about your bad night, yeah nothing worse than a "high end" DJ with BS output.

The tune that got me crazy that night...and should've taken vid footage of (but missed it) :(

Supermode - Tell Me Why (Axwell and Angello Remix)...

I know this song is overplayed...but I still get chills hearing this track...I was shocked Glaude spun this track...but I was all smiles dancin' to it :D :D :D

I couldn't agree more with this statement, Manzone and Strong played up Glaude, I mean they started the night bringin in their A game and laid down a killer set, they dropped some new tracks and got the crowd going. Technically they did a fantastic job, Fab..keep playing with those Cdj's simply awesome.

Glaude, a true legend and extremly talented, but this was not his night, mixes were off, and track selection was meh, I heard some new stuff but at the same time some old tracks too good tracks, His energy level was great but cutting the music and then just switching tracks is not cool. I have heard better from him.

I think what we are seeing here is that local talent, Manzone and Strong, Addy, Sean Miller, etc are very good at what they do and their abilities at djing are at the same if not at a higher level then some of these headliners. They are fresh and they love the music. Dj's like Glaude or even Tiesto are legends at the game but their is a time when they might loose their passion for the music or simply become too commercialized. Yes they pull numbers and yes they are good at what they do,but after soo many years can they just be wearing out?

This is just my opinion so don't shoot me, all dj's are human and they too have bad days. But for the amount of money that these headliners are getting paid and we are paying to see them, you might expect a little better. that is all....

Hats off to the local dj's that make Toronto's House music what it is.
