News does travel fast, I heard when I woke up at 9this morning my family were all discussin it.
I really do feel so sad about this.
He was a a man with a big heart and who as some have said, never had a bad thing to say, never got into bad press, and was never out to hurt anyone, but only to show people nature and how to embrace what a beautiful thing nature is, aswell as be a bit adventurous and some would say crazy, along the way, but in a good way.
I feel for his family more than I usually do with celebrities, as I dont personally know them.
But he was a great man, a nice man, and one who will be sorely missed, by the world, and most of all by his fellow countrymen and especially his family.
My heart goes out to his family, who have lost a man who could only love.

| Definitely sad to see him go. Although he was a bit odd at times (well, most of the time), I have a lot of repect for the conservation stuff he did up in northern Australia. :( |

| He did alot for Australian conservation. Alot of his income went into setting up national parks & protecting native floura & fuana. Much Respect! |

Thats the worst news ive ever heard (like someone said earlier) since 9/11 :( R.I.P Steve !! You were the man in my book !! |
youre a head. a television personality dies whilst doing the very thing that he loved, and thats worse than the 1000 lebanese that died during the recent conflict? the hundreds that died in spain or bali terror attacks?
yeah, nice thinking there einstein.
its ing aggravating to witness the outpouring of grief for a tv star over and above actual meaningful matters in the world. |

hey, youre the sheep hitching his wagon to yet another made-up australian icon so we can all feel "togetherness". he was a top bloke, that died the way he lived. its sad, but the worst thing thats happened in the last 5 years? - off troglodyte. |
