Damn, that really sucks.
One of the truly great Australian personalities who has done a lot for tourism in this country. A hilarious guy as well, I don't I have ever seen someone so full of life.

On Monday September 4, 2006 just after 11am, Eastern Australian time, Steve Irwin was reported killed by a stingray barb that pierced his chest, whilst swimming to film a documentary off the Low Isles off Port Douglas, Queensland.
