| Metal Detectors are kinda pointless cause its not like the guy was trying to sneak inside and . He went there to kill and no metal detector would have prevented this. Guns are easier to get then people think and I don't know of any way to prevent this. A guy who survived columbine got interviewed and said that if people treated eachother with respect this would never happen. These kind of things can happen anywhere as long as there are s bringing people down. |

That'll change the debate to whether or not schools want to dedicate the funds to installing metal detectors and paying for armed guards for an isolated incident like this. |

Thats the sad part Jay, you're right.
I dont want to be walking into Alkatraz every morning, I hope it doesnt come to that but what else are we supposed to do. |

Ca fait trois événements du genre en quelques années: polytechnique, Le prof cinglé a Concordia qui a tué ses collègues et maintenant Dawson...Le maire dit tout de même qu'il s'agissait d'un événement isolé...
Mon ex était était à l'endroit ou a eu la fusillade et il est parti 5 minutes quand il est revenu il y avait plein de voiture de police et du sang a terre... |

well the school will have to do something.Damage control is important, and if they don't do it the school will suffer.Its not a point of wanting, but avoiding.Nothing will ever totally protect you, but little things will make certain feel better and safer. |

I came out of a class(concordia) that i have on st matthieu and rene levesque and i saw like 5 choppers in the sky..it was surreal
All those dawson students at concordia after...
I hope everyone will be ok..how traumatising
Good thing everyone is being involved..i saw someone holding up a sign in the H building saying
DAWSONS STUDENTS--> FOOD, PHONE , COUNSELING.. |
