If you were a mod, what would you do?

I have questions.
If I make a thread and delete it, should a mod who's on a power trip be able to restore it? If you were a mod, would you?
I agree I shouldn't delete but we all know I have a delete problem and we're okay with that, right? I've been doing it for 4 years between 2 ids and everyone knows it and it bugs me as much as it bugs you but wtf, if I delete a thread that means I want it gone and it should be gone if I made it. Right? I don't usually delete my threads til they're on the 2nd page of the COR so wtf difference does it make?
Would you, if you were a mod...keeping in mind that a mod is actually in a position of power and responsibility...would you copy/paste from pms into threads?
I wouldn't. I think a pm is a pm. PRIVATE MESSAGE. I think mods shouldn't copy/paste pms into threads unless they have permission from the people who sent or wrote the pms. A mod should respect the privacy of the members of the forum?
K, next. If you were a mod...here again, think of the power and the responsibility, would you copy/paste instant message conversations without the permission of the 3rd party?
I think no. I think if a mod does this, it's immature and an abuse. Unless of course, you have permission.
K. Should a mod post a pic of someone who chooses not to post pics on public forums? If you were a mod, would you do this?
Tell me, what you would do. |

that's why you're not a mod, and u have less chance than me of being one ;)
discrection is needed. if someone cant handle the heat of something they start, and delete it, then there is a case for bringing it back, but again it's at the discrection of the mod, and if they don't see things how others do, it could give more trouble.
As for other things, well if a person wants to remain anonymous, then they have every right to do so, especially females as we all know how faptastic everyone gets if a girl actually shows up here. I can't blame any of them for that, and those who are out & everyone knows, obviously have the confidence in themselves to brush it all off, but still must get fed up at times. unless it turns them on, weirdos. |

No, the reason I am not a mod is not for that, but the fact none of the mods know me at all, and I have no wish to mod this site.
I am however a mod of one UK site, and have been a temp mod at 2 others ;) |

a lot of us (including Echo of Silence) ponder why she has a delete problem. let's dive deeper into the motive shall we? why does she feel the need to delete previous thoughts or opinions she felt so strongly about the moment she posted them? she must realize that every moment has it's own truth. she must stand behind herself and stand by her word. i dont think she's very content with herself or the thoughts she posts on here and lives a sad, melodramatic life full of regrets.
and THAT my friends, is why Echo of Silence deletes. |
